It’s AMOST Here! Construction Updates and Products to Expect

It’s been a while since we have given any update and we think it is time to talk about the plans for T.E. Market over the month of August as well as what products we have coming in.

Construction

We are putting on the finishing touches with the market! I don’t think either of us could have ever truly imagined how many fine details go into finishing a facility and getting it ready for a public opening. Good news is all that inspections were passed a few weeks ago and since then we have been busy finishing floors, putting together offices, painting (LOTS of painting) , and unboxing new inventory. This market has been such a labor of love, sweat, and many sleepless nights but we are getting so close. We are trying to finish out the classroom now so that we can turn our attention to landscaping around the market. However, we are really hoping this heat wave leaves us and brings some rain before we attempt to do anything outside. Last weekend we were fortunate enough to have family and friends jump in and work with us all day Saturday which really helped us to push us further toward our goal.

Soon our road front signage will be going in at the farm and we will be open to the public! We have decided our hours to start will be Wednesday-Friday 8am-4pm, and Saturday 9am-1pm. We are talking through what night will work best to allow for late pickup orders as we understand many do not get off work until 5pm and we want to make sure everybody has the ability to access our store and products. We are still looking for the right fit to hire here at the market! This person would work the hours above and would really be our right hand and grow with us over the years as the business grows and evolves. Products to Expect

The hardest task of the entire building process is attempting to keep Weston and myself from eating/using all of the inventory! When I say we love what we sell, I really mean it. These are products that you would walk into our home and find repeatedly. In fact, this is really the approach I took to stocking the store entirely. Some of my favorites have made an appearance such as Charleston’s Favorite cheese straws, Red Clay hot honey, and a colloidal silver kitchen spray cleaner (clean + antibacterial is my favorite)!

One of the brands we are carrying that I am SO excited about is our supplement brand, Whole 4 Life. Whole 4 Life is a holistic wellness company started by a nurse practitioner named Jill located in Walhalla, SC. She is who I personally trust with my health. She is dedicated to making supplements that are clean and effective, and I love that I have been able to talk with her about her sourcing and processing applications in these supplements. We are carrying supplements not only for adults, but for kids as well (including a kids spore based probiotic).
