When will the event space at T.E. Market be ready and what are the details?
February 1, 2026! It is happening so fast and we cannot wait to share photos and much more coming soon. We have an indoor outdoor space available for reservation with a full kitchen and bathrooms. We are looking forward to hosting rehearsal dinners, showers, birthday parties, engagement parties, and much more. Outside we can hold 125 and inside is much smaller. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions or are interested in reserving this space for an event in 2026.

Does believing in holistic healthcare mean we are against traditional healthcare?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is a firm stance for us. We firmly believe that some medical intervention saves lives and are grateful for the access to it. However, we don’t think that every ailment needs medical intervention and sometimes the side effects of medically intervening causes long term issues much bigger than the one you sought treatment for. We believe that we were created in a beautiful design and that sometimes all we need to do is support our body’s natural ability to maintain health.

What is the ‘first step’ into a wellness journey?
Gut health. This is 100% where I think health starts is through the gut. I am planning on doing more journals about this soon, but dig back last year I did an extensive journal on gut health. If you are thinking 2026 is a wellness centered year then gut health has to be a priority in January!

What are microgreens?
The name really says it all. Microgreens are young seedling of vegetables that are harvested 7-10 days after planting. The study, from 2012 by the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, analyzed 25 microgreens and, on average, determined microgreens have four to six times more nutrients than their mature counterparts. For example, red cabbage microgreens had 40 times more vitamin E and six times more vitamin C, while cilantro microgreens had three times more beta-carotene.

How do we balance homesteading , owning a business, raising a baby, and maintaining our social life?
We don’t! I know most people are wanting a magical answer to this question but the full truth is that there are a lot of things we have to say no to in order to maintain all of these areas of our lives right now, and that is okay with us. We just simply try to make sure we keep our priorities in order (God, Family, Health, Businesses) and as long as we do that it seems to just work out at the end of the day. It did take us some time to realize we couldn't do it all at the same time. So if you see us canning and homesteading you can be sure that we haven’t seen friends all week. If you see us spending time with Collins and enjoying being parents it is almost a guarantee that we have emails to answer for the business.

What are our goals and dreams for T.E. Market?
Even though the doors are open we are still very much in the dreaming phase of T.E. Market. We know that we want to grow and expand to have more things here such as a homeschool cooperative that meets out of here in the next few years and to expand our holistic wellness side of the business. However, we want God to use the Market how he sees fit so right now we are patiently waiting for him to show us exactly what that looks like.

Recommended readings for anyone interested in low tox living?
Gosh I have so many! Please email me at temarket24@gmail.com and I will happily send you my top 10 list.

What are our MUST HAVE items for our daughter?
Gosh this list is infinitely long for me. We spent so much time in research when deciding what to use for her in every aspect. The first is our Nuna carseat! It has top level safety ratings and crash test ratings as well as safe materials and third party testing for verification that no former chemicals were used. Another big one for us was a wearable carrier. I personally loved my Mabé carrier and still use it now but any would work! A third big one is her Parasol diapers. These were a huge decision for us but are the cleanest diaper that we can find that were TCF (chlorine free) and had the best results with keeping her dry etc. A bonus is her Rowe Casa tummy oil, every night we rub it on her tummy and it is magical.

Why did we decide to carry Whole 4 Life supplements?
I trust Jill. It really is that simple for me. The lack of transparency and accountability in the realm of supplements that are sold really makes me sad and I have a hard time trusting the quality of products that are purchased online (with exceptions, I do have a few I love). I personally started seeing Jill back in 2024 and her products made a huge difference in my personal health and when I wanted to start T.E. Market is was a no brainer that this was my supplement brand of choice. We are thankful to partner with her and really get excited hearing the stories you all have shared as to how these products have helped you as well.

Why are the hours so limited at T.E. Market?
There are multiple answers to this question. The first and primary reason is that we prioritize family time as we have grown into a family of three managing busy schedules. As we prepared to open T.E. Market we wanted to make sure that we could eat dinner as a family at night and put our daughter down for bed. The second is that we were very aware that we would need those extra hours in the evenings to continue to work toward expanding the business, holding classes, and planning events. However, as we have adjusted to our new normal we are actively looking at how to expand hours to provide more time and access for those who work past 4pm.

What are my favorite products postpartum?
Postpartum in many ways rocked my world but it also helped me to see the areas that really needed help and support after the stress of carrying and having our daughter. I lost SO MUCH HAIR in postpartum and really the Rowe Casa hair spritz has been a game changer for me! Everybody who uses it at the store raves about it just as much as I do. Another product is my inflacalm supplement that has helped to reduce my postpartum inflammation and fluid retention. I would say a third is my postpartum vitamin pack, I really have loved these and feel its helped me a ton.

What new animals are coming to T.E. Market?
Turkeys arrived this week and we are getting started in the incubation process to hatch babies this spring. We have tons of baby cows right now as we are coming to the end of the season. I think the next addition to the farm is a livestock guardian dog, but we are actively looking for the right fit for all our animals.

What is something we wish we knew before opening a business?
I feel like we could write a small novel titled “What I Wish I Knew Then”. It sounds naive but I wish someone could have truly explained that opening the doors isn’t a finish line, but rather the starting line. We spent so much time just trying to get the market open we often times forgot about all that was coming once we actually did.
